2026 Fall Newsletter

The photograph above was taken nearly 80 years ago on what is now our Estate vineyard and farm, when the Morelli family were the growers and vintners on this property. We were recently fortunate to connect with a member of the Morelli family, who shared this and the photo below, giving us a glimpse of the people who first shaped the viticultural landscape of this special site we call home. Together, these photos illustrate a history rooted in both the land and the simple pleasure of sharing its fruits.

As we celebrate our 25th vintage this year, we find ourselves increasingly drawn to the concept of legacy: that of the land and the generations of farmers who have cared for and shaped it, as well as the one we hope to create through our own work. Dating back to the late 1800s, a vineyard with the longevity of our Estate transcends any one person. Different hands have tended the vines over time, but the character of the land endures. This same spirit of stewardship extends beyond our Estate, to the longtime growers and unique vineyard sites with whom we have been fortunate to work for more than two decades. Through thoughtful biodynamic, organic, and regenerative farming practices across these sites, our goal is not only to nurture the fruit we harvest today, but to nourish the health and vitality of the land so that it can continue to thrive for generations to come. In carefully shepherding the fruit into wines that honor the history, the wines become part of the story themselves.

As we mark 25 vintages, we raise a glass to those who came before us and to those who continue to enjoy the fruits of our stewardship.
