2026 Spring Newsletter

March 9, 2026 | by Radio-Coteau

Beginning with our first harvest back in 2002, this year marks our 25th vintage. As the year unfolds, we’re reflecting on the passage of time, on the things that have shaped our past and present, and what guides our future. In the early years, our fruit was entirely sourced, our grower and employee relationships were still forming, and our footing felt uncertain. Less control over winegrowing required trust, experimentation, and an education in place and people. Yet amidst all the unknowns, we held fast to a belief in quality, a respect for the long cycle of farming, and a quiet dream that someday we would work the land with our own hands.

Today, that dream is our proud foundation. Our Biodynamic Estate vineyard and farm now accounts for roughly 70% of our production, with longtime, dedicated grower partners rounding out the rest. Over time, we’ve fine-tuned our focus through deeper relationships, shared expectations, and greater control from grape to glass. Our team is streamlined yet more experienced, with most having spent nearly a decade or more here. Looking ahead, we are humbly confident in our winegrowing practices, and our path is one of refinement rather than expansion. We’re continuing to move toward greater reliance on our Estate fruit, simplifying without sacrificing quality, and using our 25 vintages of experience to adapt to each season’s variations. By design and by the realities of farming, our focus remains on what we grow, who we work with, and how we farm, in order to ensure sustainable longevity. After 25 years, we know winegrowing is a long game guided by intention, grounded in consistency, and built slowly, one season at a time.

We are fueled not only by Mother Nature, but by the appreciation of those who seek out and share our wines around the world. As the seasons turn and our journey continues, that shared enjoyment gives meaning to the work and becomes part of the cycle that carries us forward.
