“The 2016 Syrah Dusty Lane is inward, powerful and massively tannic. Readers should be in no rush to drink the 2016, as it is potent, deep and quite reticent. Inky blue/purplish fruit, lavender, violet, cloves and white flowers open up with time in the glass, but the 2016 remain inward and packed with both fruit and tannin. This is a decidedly imposing Syrah from Radio-Coteau. Although not an easy wine, the Dusty Lane will prove immensely rewarding for those who can wait.”
