“The 2014 Pinot Noir Alberigi presents the more savory, structured side of Russian River Pinot. Graphite, smoke, savory herbs and bright, salivating acidity are the signatures, while the fruit is pushed more into the background. Underlying veins of acidity give the Alberigi its drive, brightness and intensity. Although quite pretty today, the 2014 could use at least another year in bottle.”
