“A highly expressive, even perfumed nose of red berry and pinot fruit that is overtly ripe and tinged with a background note of wood spice that is picked up by the rich, delicious, voluminous and naturally sweet big-bodied flavors that possess good depth and length though the finish is presently a bit edgy though it carries its alcohol with limited if not invisible warmth. This is delicious and fashioned in a robust and powerful style that is perhaps a bit less elegant than usual but for fans of focused and balanced power pinot that avoids the extremes of the genre, this will work well.”
