“(the first crop from young vines) Good full ruby-red. Wild aromas of black raspberry, violet, chocolate and meat. Densely packed, sweet and fat, but kept firm by an edge of acidity. The wild, meaty character carries through on the palate. Offers very good breadth and texture, if not quite the fleshiness of the Savoy. Finishes with broad tannins and notes of black raspberry and espresso.”
