“A significant step up the quality ladder is the 2004 Pinot Noir Savoy. From the cool Anderson Valley microclimate, it possesses blueberry, black cherry, and meaty forest floor notes, terrific fruit in the aromatics, attack, mid-palate, and finish, and nicely integrated tannin. This cuvee is a blend of the Martini, Pommard, and Dijon 115 clones. Drink it over the next 5-7 years.”
