“Beautiful red ruby. This is almost a blend of the prior two wines with ripe but wonderfully elegant red and black pinot fruit trimmed in very subtle oak, cinnamon and anise nuances. The medium full flavors are rich, sappy and mouth coating with buried structure and a harmony of expression that is just lovely. There is adequate but not racy buffering acidity with fine length and this is unmistakably pure pinot in character. In short, this is a really lovely effort that already has a seductive, indeed irresistible touch of velvet on the backend.”
