“Medium red. Slow-to-open nose reveals raspberry, redcurrant and cocoa powder. Broad, dry and youthfully dumb; with aeration, this wine showed flavors of red berries, spices and tobacco. Still a bit clenched on the back, but the tannins are ripe. And the wine has plenty of underlying density and texture.”
