“The 2021 Pinot Noir Savoy from Cliff Lede’s Anderson Valley estate, is a dark, surprisingly brooding wine. Black cherry, plum, licorice, mocha, incense and dried flowers are all amplified. Large scaled and ample, the Savoy is a bit surprising for its intensity, yet all the elements are so well balanced. Low yields in 2021 contribute to the wine’s richness.”
