“From a site west of Sebastopol that Eric has worked with since 2008 (there are three acres of Pinot Noir farmed by John Dierke), the 2015 Pinot Noir Dierke comes from the Mount Eden and 828 clones and was brought up in one-third French oak. Gorgeous black cherries, black raspberries, ozone/gunpowder, and crushed violet notes all give way to a medium-bodied, concentrated, pure Pinot Noir that has beautiful precision and purity. It’s vibrant, pure and clean, as well as a smoking good Pinot Noir.”
