“The 2015 is dark, rich and voluptuous, with soft contours and striking balance. Today, it comes across as a wine that will drink well with minimal cellaring. The exuberant side of the year comes through in the wine’s racy, inky blue/purplish-toned fruit. There is quite a bit of brightness as well, but the fruit profile is a bit darker than is the norm here. Even so, the interplay of fruit intensity and freshness is simply compelling.”
