“(Made from whole-cluster-pressed fruit and raised entirely in stainless steel): Green-tinged gold. Pungent, mineral-accented citrus fruit aromas, with a hint of anise in the background. Green apple and pink grapefruit on the palate, with white pepper and quinine notes adding vivacity. Firm, sharply focused and strikingly pure on the penetrating, persistent finish, with the quinine note repeating. In an uncompromising style that’s distinctly Old World; fans of dry, stony wines will love it. This is the first riesling that Eric Sussman has bottled and he is the only winemaker who gets the variety from this vineyard.”
