“Black cherries, plums, mint, violets and smoke meld together in the 2011 Pinot Noir Dierke. This is a surprisingly juicy, resonant Pinot considering the vintage, yet all the elements are nicely balanced. I would prefer to drink the 2011 over the near and medium-term, as it doesn’t seem to be built for cellaring. I doubt that will be a problem, as the 2011 is absolutely beautiful right now.”
