“An impressive barrel sample that shows the wild, meaty side to Syrah, the 2010 Radio-Coteau Syrah Timbervine is loaded with crunchy black fruits, leafy herbs, mineral, and meat aromas and flavors. On the fuller side of medium-bodied, with a dense mid-palate and a firm, structured edge, this will most likely fall into a similar style with the ’09, perhaps showing a touch more vibrancy. This cuvee ages beautifully and this will be no exception. Expect to hide these in the cellar for 2-3 years, and then drink over the following decade or more.”
