“Light gold. Spicy citrus and orchard fruits on the nose, with notes of anise and smoky minerals adding complexity. Fleshy but focused pear and lemongrass flavors are deepened by a note of bitter pear skin and repeat the smoky note. The finish is smooth, focused and very persistent. This is more open-knit and weighty than previous vintages have been at this stage of their lives.”
