“My favorite in the lineup was the 2008 Radio-Coteau Syrah Dusty Lane. From a cool, coastal site in the Russian River Valley, it possesses a brilliant purple color to go with vibrant, energetic aromatics of violets, raspberries, and pepper that literally soar from the glass. This gives way to a brilliantly detailed, pure Syrah that has a medium to full-bodied, textured mid-palate, firm underlying structure, and loads of concentration and length. I’m a fan this gorgeous wine should be hidden in the cellar (or decanted for a hour or more if drinking anytime soon) for 2-3 years, and then consumed over the following 12-15+ years. “
