“(a certified biodynamic vineyard) Medium red. Seductive, highly perfumed aromas of black raspberry, anise, rose and black cardamom are underscored by a smoky mineral quality. Vibrant, sharply focused red and dark berry flavors are impressively concentrated, picking up a brisk, peppery quality on the back end. Expands and gains sweetness on the finish, which strongly echoes the licorice and pepper notes. Impressive as this is today, I’d bet on it rewarding another few years of patience. You shouldn’t feel guilty drinking it now though.”
