“The 2005 Zinfandel Von Weidlich reveals that even a brilliant winemaker can have challenges. It is a good Zinfandel but displays high acidity, a lighter style than one might expect from Zinfandel, and some superficial briery, peppery herbal notes in the aromas and favors. Drink it over the next 1-2 years.”
