“Bright ruby-red. Superripe aromas of black raspberry, chocolate, brown spices, loam and underbrush; quite Burgundian in character. Fat, velvety and full, with dense flavors of blackberry and chocolatey oak. This offers terrific depth for North Coast pinot from the 2004 vintage. Finishes very long and smooth, with noble tannins.”
