2020 Radio-Coteau Alberigi bottle sold out

Vineyard Profile

In the heart of the Russian River Valley, the Alberigi Vineyard, sourced exclusively by Radio-Coteau and farmed organically, lies on a stretch of Vine Hill Road renowned for its Goldridge soils. Notoriously composed yet powerful, Alberigi expresses the purity of this special region. Hailing from the cooler side of the Russian River Valley, the Alberigi often heralds the onset of our Pinot Noir harvest, and the 2020 vintage was no exception. Fermented with 36% whole-cluster inclusion, the 2020 Alberigi is lithe and vibrant, and confidently carries the distinction of being our sole Pinot Noir from this storied appellation.

Tasting Notes

The 2020 vintage of Alberigi Pinot Noir delivers a refined expression of Russian River Valley terroir. Notes of Morello cherry, dried sage, and a touch of sandalwood permeate throughout the glass. Earthy anise and warm spice nuances augment the bright, red berry flavors, while a compelling acidity provides a delicate lift. Svelte tannins add structure and polish that carries through to a dynamic and lengthy finish.
